How to Subscribe or Upgrade

You can manage your subscription directly within the Phyn app on your preferred device.

  1. Open Phyn and tap the Settings (gear) icon.

  2. Navigate to the Account & Subscription section.

  3. Choose your preferred plan and complete the purchase through the App Store (iOS/macOS) or Google Play Store (Android).

Managing Your Subscription (Cancellations & Refunds)

Since Phyn uses the native payment systems of your device’s operating system, all billing, renewals, and cancellations are handled securely by Apple or Google.

On iOS and macOS

  1. Open the Settings app on your device.

  2. Tap your Name/Apple ID at the very top.

  3. Tap Subscriptions.

  4. Find Phyn in the list to change your plan or cancel your renewal.

On Android

  1. Open the Google Play Store app.

  2. At the top right, tap the profile icon.

  3. Tap Payments & subscriptions > Subscriptions.

  4. Select Phyn to manage your billing cycle or cancel.

Common Questions (FAQ)

"Can I use my subscription on multiple devices?"

Yes! As long as you are signed into the same App Store or Google Play account, your Phyn Premium status will follow you across all your devices on that platform.

"How do I Restore Purchases?"

If you've upgraded but don't see your Premium features active:

  1. Go to Settings in the Phyn app.

  2. Tap Account & Subscription.

  3. Select Restore Purchases. This will re-verify your receipt with the App Store or Google Play Store.

"Do I need a subscription to use my Jellyfin server?"

No. Your Jellyfin server is yours, and Phyn will always allow you to connect to it and stream your content for free. The subscription only unlocks the "enhanced" native features developed specifically by the Phyn team, such as offline downloads and advanced syncing.
